little luna market is the result of a long time friendship and long time desire to bring good, local, ethical food to Vancouver. Sunrise O'Mahoney and Heather Lehman have been involved in food projects of one sort or another for ten years - and we look forward to many more!

Both of us know a lot about the farming, procurement, and transport of "average food" in the United States. And, we know even more about its consequences: poor nutrition, health problems, and loss of local economic opportunities. This knowledge inspired us to do something different.

We wanted to apply what we know about good food and sustainable living and make those choices easier for everyone we know. We also wanted to return to applying the principle that "fresh is best" and do something that involved local producers in order to bolster our local economy. The result is little luna market.

We will soon announce our OPEN FOR BUSINESS date. Until then, here's looking towards Vancouver's good food future!
